Join us for a workshop on the Big Apple (solo jazz routine)!
No prior exposure to the routine is required, as it will be taught from scratch. Those who have tried the routine before can also use the session to refresh their knowledge and explore variations that feel comfortable for them. We recommend that participants have danced Lindy Hop or Balboa for at least one semester (or have equivalent dance experience). All levels are welcome, but beginners should note that the learning pace may feel a bit fast—still, you are very much encouraged to join. Looking forward!
When the song "Big Apple Contest" comes on during dance festivals (or our own Friday social dance), those who knows the routine joins in on the dance floor to dance!
