Savolaisen Osakunnan Laulajat eli tuttavallisemmin SOL hakee uusia innokkaita laulajia kaikkiin äänialoihin kevään koelauluissa. Koelaulut järjestetään torstaina 20.01.2022
Savolaisen Osakunnan Laulajat on perinteikäs, reilun 30 hengen kokoinen sekakuoro, jossa korkea taiteellinen taso, osakuntakuoron sosiaalisuus ja iloinen ilmapiiri kulkevat käsi kädessä. Kuoroamme luotsaa kuoronjohtaja Noora Hirn. Kuoro harjoittelee torstaisin kello 18-21 Uuden ylioppilastalon 6. kerroksessa eli Vinnillä (Mannerheimintie 5 A). Tulevana keväänä treenaamme muun muassa huhtikuussa 2022 esitettävää Carmina Burana -projektia varten, sekä myös muuta monipuolista ja vaihtelevaa ohjelmistoa. Vuonna 2022 SOL-täyttää 90 vuotta!
Koelaulussa sinua pyydetään esittämään vapaavalintainen kappale sekä testataan äänialaa ja sävelkorvaa erilaisilla harjoitteilla. Taiteellisen johtajan lisäksi koelaulua kuuntelee kuoron stemmaviskaaleista ja varajohtajasta koostuva musiikkilautakunta. Koelaulun tuloksesta ilmoitetaan henkilökohtaisesti samana päivänä.

Interested in joining a cheerful student choir?
SOL, the choir of the SavO student nation, is looking for new members! Auditions will be held on Thursday, January 20th, at the New Student House (Uusi Ylioppilastalo, Mannerheimintie 5 A, uppermost floor). We are interested in all male and female voices!
SOL is a mixed choir of about 30 singers combining artistic ambition with a relaxed and sociable atmosphere. Rehearsals take place every Thursday from 6 to 9 pm, and the choir gives several concerts a year, in Helsinki and elsewhere. The choir is led by choir conductor Noora Hirn since autumn 2021. This spring we will, among other things, rehearse for our joined Carmina Burana -project with a few other Nation choirs. SOL turns 90 years old in 2022!
In the audition, you will be asked to perform one song of your choice, and our conductor will test your vocal range and your sense of pitch. The audition also includes an easy music reading task. In addition to the conductor, the audition will be attended by 3-5 members of the choir. All applicants will be told about the results personally on the same day.
