About this Event
Solidarity through Movements / Jin, Jîyan, Azadî is a small gathering to get together and collect the reading materials that participants will bring and collectively read and discuss them and their relation to the Divine Violence / Jin, Jîyan, Azadî (ئازادی ،ژیان ،ژن)’ exhibition. This is a collective reading session with Çağlar Hanaylı and Gülistan Kenanoğlu. Participants will be required to bring a small text, essay, article or a memory of theirs about women’s emancipatory action for their lives and freedom over patriarchy, injustice, violence and rules of others.
BIO
Çağlar Hanaylı is an architect who works in collaboration with SBArchLab. He specializes in cities after migration and mobility.
Gülistan Kenanoğlu is a Kurdish independent curator and architect. She works under SBArchLab, of which she is the founder, and specializes in exhibition practices around postcolonial art and architecture history and the effects of conflicts/wars on cities' public real
