Solidarity Cinema #2

Join DIY Museum and Bay2Gaza Mutual Aid for another screening of 5 short films by Palestinian filmmakers from the Solidarity Cinema library. Tickets are on a sliding scale from $10 to $50 with no one turned away for lack of funds (NOTAFLOF). The screening will be held at the New Parkway (474 24th St, Oakland, CA 94612).

All proceeds from the event go to Gazan families surviving genocide.

• KN95 or better masks are required at this event. We will have masks available on-site.
• There is a ramp available to access the building.
• There are no steps in the theater itself.

Info: Check in with your Evenbrite ticket! Please queue early, as last time it took quite some time to get everyone into the theater. We are only accepting pre-purchased tickets. Donate extra to Bay2Gaza at this time, learn about DIY Museum, and check out a vendor (TBD!).

Info: We plan to start the films promptly at 1 PM. This gives folks running late an opportunity to get situated, however we encourage everyone to arrive early, make new friends, and allow for the screening to start at the planned time.

Info: A moment to decompress, talk to neighbors, and get ready to head out! We are not planning a post show discussion this time, though we'd love for you to take the discussion with you into your lives. How can you advocate for Palestine? How will you confront nearly 80 years of genocide at the hands of the Zionist entity? Some big questions that we hope you'll continue to ponder and take action on.
