About this Event
Come hang out with local game developers for a day of games, conversation, and general dev-adjacent chaos at Board in the City.
Hosted by local indie company Antivenin Games, this is a relaxed, social meetup for people who make games, want to make games, or are just quietly obsessed with them. Expect a mix of chatting about what you’re working on, playing board games, swapping war stories, and accidentally staying longer than you meant to.
No talks.
No pitching.
No awkward icebreakers.
Just a bunch of game devs in a room, being human.
Whether you’re a student, hobbyist, indie dev, industry veteran, or somewhere in between, you’re welcome here. If you’ve been before, you know the vibe. If you haven’t, it’s friendly, informal, and very low-pressure.
Coming on your own is completely normal. People do it all the time. You will be adopted within minutes.
Bring your curiosity, your opinions, and if you’re bringing a laptop… your power strip (seriously).
