"SOLD OUT!" - NEXT FILM MIXER is Sat Nov 22nd "All About Verticals" with our in person Special Guests Casting Director Monika Dalman and Vertical actor Alicia Read, both are on the lead team for VFSSA. The VFSSA (Vertical Film & Short Series Alliance) is a community-driven collective dedicated to elevating the vertical film industry and establishing our region as one of the world’s most prestigious hubs for broadcast-quality, network-level vertical microdramas.Their mission is to foster a sustainable, professional ecosystem that unites clients, unions, producers, cast, and crew, showcasing the real value we create so the work continues to flow and the industry continues to grow.
Together as an Alliance they are laying the foundation for a mobile-first, platform-powered future where short-form storytelling takes centre frame, and our BC region leads the way.
Our last session with Producer Suzanne Lyons was a high powered download of information and this session will be the same to lay the ground work for you so you know the latest productions coming down the pipe!
This film mixer will be great to attend for anyone that's interested in acting, writing, producing, directing, working as crew etc as its a new medium that's been gaining speed over the last 1.5 years in BC and is just cranking in China.

VENUE / LOCATION:
Our "All About Verticals" Film Mixer will be held at the Haus of Owl: Creation Lab at 780 Blanshard Street, corner of Burdett, where I currently run my Posh Intertainment events. It's an amazing Co Creating space for dynamic individuals doing super cool things in Media and the Arts.
WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBLE:
We have ramp access and an elevator for those that have difficulty with stairs.
DATE: Saturday, Nov 22nd, 1:45pm-4pm, please arrive on time!
(DOOR GREETER there 1:30-2:30pm after that you will not be able to get in as this is a private Creators facility)
PARKING: Easiest parking is City of Victoria Parkade with access just off Courtney Str a block away. Give yourself time to park and walk a block. DO NOT PARK IN BUILDING LOT, YOU WILL BE TOWED.
DRESS/THEME: Film Fam casual, or Dress to Impress, you decide :)

2:20-3:00pm - Host Victoria Clements of Posh Intertainment will Interview Casting Director Monika Dalman and busy Vertical Actor Alicia Read and get the low down on everything about Vertical Filmmaking and where they see this trend in filmmaking going.
3:00 - 3:30pm - Q & A session with guests & attendees.

I acknowledge I have the right to enter into this Agreement and am not restricted by commitments to third parties. Producer has no financial commitment or obligations to me as a result of Agreement. In consideration of all the above, I have read, understand and agree to all of the above and that the rights granted Producer herein are perpetual and worldwide for ALL Media.
I really look forward to this event, we are going to learn a LOT about this newest trend in filmmaking that could be a great boost for local filmmakers here in Victoria.
