Solace for the Spirit is an outdoor tour of haunted spaces,
bringing words and music of remembrance to entertain and
comfort both audience members and the spirits who remain.
The Peterborough County Heritage Jail Park concert will feature musician & storyteller, Ken Arndt with a monologue of a depression-era busking inmate who will perform the tongue-in-cheek “Johnston’s Hotel” (written by a former inmate) with the Hollow Woods Recorder Consort. Join them for other tales
of the jail’s dark history and music that includes some singalong opportunities via a songsheet handout and QR codes to lyrics.
Parking is also free and available behind the Courthouse by following Brock street to its eastern end and turning left. (Audience members who require a closer drop off may use the north parking lot’s accessible parking spot for a drop off but all vehicles must be parked in the east lot.)
