Come along again to support our trial of a soft plastics collection. Bring along your soft plastics which will then be recycled by APR Soft Plastics. Examples of plastics to bring:
Chip packets (foil-look soft plastic)
Cereal box inserts
Bread bags
Dry dog and cat food bags
Wet dog and cat food pouches (please rinse out first)
Bubble wrap
Frozen produce bags
Ziploc bags
Candy wrappers and bags
Biscuit packet wrappers (soft plastic trays NOT accepted at this time)
Please ensure your plastic is securely packaged in plastic bag that can go straight into waste, rather than in a box or other container that has to be emptied prior to disposal. It also means that the individual plastics don't blow away when the bins are emptied.
