Intro to Feedback
This workshop will approach audio feedback as an accessible, DIY material that can be incorporated into a wide range of experimental performance and music practices. We will cover the basics of creating acoustic and transducer-based feedback using speakers, transducers, microphones, and basic mixing boards. Loren will also demonstrate some techniques from her practice and discuss approaches to performing with feedback. Earplugs will be provided! Open to all skill levels. Please bring any sound devices or materials you wish to bring.
****At this time, Soft Noise Skillshare is open only to women, non-binary, and trans participants in an effort to encourage equity in sound and audio spaces. All levels welcome, no experience necessary.*****
