What You’ll Experience
Over four sessions, you’ll move from idea to finished piece while developing your own artistic “roadmap”.
Week 1 – Foundations & Vision
Explore pastel materials, learn how to plan your artwork, and create quick value sketches to strengthen your drawing and composition.
Week 2 – Building the Structure
Develop your underdrawing and refine composition, setting a strong foundation for your piece.
Week 3 – Color Comes to Life
Dive into color theory and begin layering pastels to create depth, texture, and atmosphere.
Week 4 – Bringing It All Together
Refine and complete your artwork, with guidance and feedback in a supportive, encouraging environment.Weather permitting, one session may include a plein air experience—taking your work outdoors to capture the natural light and color of the world around you.
