Join Eating Out Austin for a hands-on Beginner Knife Skills Class, an interactive cooking experience designed for food enthusiasts and home cooks looking to build confidence in the kitchen.
Led by experienced culinary professionals, this class will cover essential knife skills, including how to hold and handle a chef’s knife, classic cutting techniques such as slicing, dicing, mincing, and julienning, and tips to improve efficiency and safety while preparing meals at home.
Whether you’re new to cooking or simply want to sharpen your technique, this class offers a supportive environment to learn, practice, and elevate your skills.

Liability Waiver - All participants must sign our Liability Waiver before class begins. It covers basic safety policies and expectations for working with kitchen tools. We'll have some printed out for you before class.
Dietary Restrictions - We’ll be reaching out to attendees via email prior to the event to ask about any dietary restrictions or allergies. While this class isn’t focused on full meals, we want to be mindful of any concerns related to ingredients used during practice.
