About this Event
SOFT LANDINGS IS A WELLNESS SPACE FOR AND BY THE ASIAN COMMUNITY. A PLACE TO GATHER, MOVE, BREATHE AND CONNECT.
Curated by lululemon Ambassador, Valerie Tiu.
Asians are still underrepresented in wellness spaces and as a community, face many nuanced experiences, both of marginalization and privilege. We come together to share our stories, cultural narratives, and explore the ways that we can show up as better allies in our community. 💛
This workshop is an invitation to explore what it means to find ease, rest and softness as tools for resistance. We create A SOFT PLACE TO LAND. ☁️
In celebration of Lunar New Year, we welcome in the Year of the Snake: a time to shed the old and embrace the new 🐍🐍🐍

SOFT LANDINGS is taking place on the traditional land of the Wendake-Nionwentsio, Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation, the Anishiabewaki and the Haudenosaunee peoples. We acknowledge the rich history of the Indigenous peoples, and offer our gratitude to the stewards of this land - past, present and future.
