Sodey Mac is a singer-songwriter from New Jersey, living in Berlin, singing wherever is possible. She combines her classically trained vocal and piano technique developed during her conservatory studies, with jazz and hip hop influences which surrounded her growing up in a suburb of Philadelphia, USA. After completing an opera performance degree, she spent time in London, and eventually landed in Berlin. Her moody, honest lyrics reflect a life lived with a painfully open heart, in a constant state of curiosity. Sodey Mac wishes to explore the space and similarities between genres, embrace her slow, lo-fi vibe as an act of resistance to fast past modernity, and encourage others to fully feel their feelings by example of sharing her deeply personal lyrics. Her first EP Best to Forget was released in February 2024.
Rebecca Kenny is a musician and performance artist from England, who makes music with her pop band Watch Out For The Bear, as well as performing her own songs as cabaret alter ego, Frieda Love. She is currently working on her first solo EP - Songs From The Soil - which she will present for the first time at Wein Salon. Experimental folk sounds and feral love songs in a deep conversation with the earth, nature’s rhythms and the physical body. Musical poetry using vocals and ukulele, with a visual, performative style.
