Soda Pop is an alt-comedy tour de force from Chicago comedian Parker Callahan. Fresh off a successful run at the 2025 Edinburgh Fringe Festival, the 2025 New York Comedy Festival, and the 2026 San Francisco Sketch Fest, Soda Pop combines stand-up and original music in a multimedia, stream-of-consciousness ride through the mind of a deranged gay man. One moment he’s singing about thrift-store underwear and the next he’s calling the cops on you and all your friends. Absolutely no trauma is explored. It’s just dumb, delightful fun led by an idiot in a Speedo. As one Scottish reviewer put it, “If there is a queer performance spectrum, Soda Pop breaks it, sets it on fire, and inhales a bottle of poppers through the glittery smoke.”
