Remember how much fun it was to gather for a slumber party when you were younger? Staying up late, eating junk food, playing silly games, and hanging out with your buddies? Now imagine doing all of that and more, but with your favorite shelter animals. That’s right! Beginning Saturday, April 18, we are hosting a 24-Hour Shelter Slumber Pawty at SOCKS!
The Shelter Slumber Pawty is a collaborative fundraising event that brings together shelters from across the nation (and beyond) to help raise funds and awareness for shelter pets.
What are we asking?
• A commitment to spend a few or up to 24 hours at the SOCKS shelter beginning at noon Saturday, April 18, until noon on Sunday, April 19.
• Promote the Pawty and ask friends, family, co-workers, etc. to donate to the Pawty using our online platform. We will provide tons of support to help you fundraise!
• Bring your excitement, enthusiasm, and love for animals!
SOCKS also is looking for businesses who would like to sponsor the event.
