Social Superheroes is a sensory-friendly summer camp designed to help kids practice friendship, communication, emotional awareness, and kindness through guided play, small-group activities, and supportive coaching.
This week gives children a low-pressure place to learn how to connect with others, understand big feelings, and build the social skills they need to thrive.
Key Highlights / Activities
Friendship Practice: Learn how to join in, take turns, share ideas, and build positive peer connections.
Feelings & Emotional Tools: Practice naming emotions, understanding body signals, and using calming strategies.
Teamwork Challenges: Build cooperation, listening, problem-solving, and flexible thinking through fun group activities.
Kindness & Empathy Activities: Explore what it means to care for others, include others, and be a supportive friend.
Confidence Through Play: Small-group, sensory-friendly activities designed to help every child feel safe, successful, and seen.
Age Range & Skill Level
Grades: K–2nd and 3rd–5th grade groups
Skill Level: All abilities welcome. No prior experience needed. This camp is a great fit for children who would benefit from extra support with friendship skills, communication, emotional regulation, confidence, or social connection.
What to Bring / Logistics
Please send your child with:
Water bottle
Comfortable clothes for movement and play
Any helpful sensory, comfort, or regulation item
Snack, if needed for your child’s session
Completed intake form before attending, if your child is new to Aaron’s Corner
Dates: June 22–25
Days: Monday–Thursday
Location: Aaron’s Corner LLC, 1800 Hoskins St, Newberg
K–2nd Grade Sessions: 9:00–10:00am or 10:30–11:30am, max 6 kids
3rd–5th Grade Sessions: 12:30–2:00pm or 2:30–4:00pm, max 8 kids
Cost: $100/week for K–2nd, $125/week for 3rd–5th
New Camper Intake: First-time campers require a brief intake meeting, completed intake form, and one-time $50 intake fee for the 2026 camp season.
