Join me at the Plaza (Screen 3) on Sunday 14th June at 9:15am for a fun morning of crafting at the cinema! All crafts are welcome as long as they aren't too loud or messy! (no glitter please!).
Tickets are £12 and include two seats so that you'll have plenty of room to spread out! Each block in the cinema is 4 seats wide and so are perfect for two people to sit together. Seating is not allocated. Your ticket also includes a breakfast pastry and a cold drink. Please let me know if you have any dietary requirements ([email protected]). The cinema's kiosk will be open for the purchase of hot/cold drinks, sweets and popcorn.
If you've not visited the Plaza before, it is a predominantly volunteer run community cinema and has recently been refurbished so I have promised them that we will make no mess! I'll provide rubbish containers for all seats and I ask that everyone be mindful to not leaving any mess behind.
There is a small car park behind the cinema (a bigger one is opposite), a bus stop right outside and a railway station just around the corner (Waterloo, on the Northern Line).
The lights will be fully on but if you need good light for your craft, you might want to think about bringing an additional 'booklight' type gadget.
The film is yet to be decided but once the ticket sales are well underway, I will ask all ticketholders to contribute to a poll. All I can say now if that it will be a cosy, lighthearted film (not a subtitled one) I'm thinking Sense and Sensibility vibes. It could be a 12/12A or higher rating and I'd ask that all under 16's are accompanied by an adult. I'm aiming to start the film at 9:30.
