About this Event
Join us for a casual monthly after-school meet up for Autistic and Neurodivergent school-aged children and their carers. Meet up with peers and engage with a variety of hands-on activities and resources in an inclusive, welcoming space.
E ach month, different activities and resources will be available for Neurodivergent children of all ages to explore alongside their peers. This is not a staffed event, rather a space will be set up and resources laid out for children and their carers to engage with freely. Staff will be available to assist with queries and offer guidance.
Rotating activities may include LEGO, open-ended craft and follow-along templates, card and boardgames, building blocks and planks, puzzles, robots and gaming options, clay, graphic novel creation and reading stations and more. If there is something your child is passionate about that you would like to see included in the rotation, please let us know.

NOVEMBER 20th ACTIVITY: GLASS JAR LANTERNS *must be actively supervised by carer
------------------------------------------------
Leongatha Library is an inclusive space, and positively engaging with each other is much more important than keeping quiet. However, children must be supervised at all times by their carers.
W e will do our best to ensure this listing is kept updated prior to each month's meet up with the details of the activity on offer. We will always try to give forewarning and keep changes to a minimum, however, sometimes last minute changes are unavoidable. Families are welcome to contact the branch directly with any questions or concerns.

We pay our respect to the Elders, past and present, and acknowledge the long and proud history of the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people of Australia, who have nurtured and cared for the waters, skies, and lands that we gather on, for many thousands of years and continue to do so to this day.
