Social Media Strategy Workshop: Writers and Performance Artists

So many artists plagiarize celebrity art influencers on their social media accounts. In doing so, they miss out on opportunities to use their unique strengths to use their art as an advantage to meet their goals.

I'm Phoenix Wheeler (they/them). I'm a communications professional who has developed and taught social media strategies to a number of organizations and audiences. I also happen to be a spoken word artist (Mx. Asher), and have a graduate degree from Boston University in Advertising with a digital media emphasis.

This is a workshop. As such, we'll be working on your social media strategy and develop a plan together. This will include learning to leverage the way different social media channels are designed, going past best practices towards a custom-tailored strategy that works best for your aspirations. And, we'll use your untapped advantages as a human and artist to do it. That's my favorite part.

We'll have various examples, plenty of time to ask questions, resources and guides to help you manage and further explore advanced strategies.
