Our Social Day Clubs aim to improve health and wellbeing through meaningful activities, social interaction and practical services.Activities on offer can include gentle exercise, short walks, art and crafts, music and sing-alongs, quizzes, games, gardening, baking, talks and presentations.
There are also regular visits from mobile hairdressers, chiropodists, therapy dogs, and occasional trips out to the cinema and local parks.
A nutritional two course lunch is provided, along with a packed tea to take home.
Qualified members of our care team will be on hand to support with personal care needs if required and to carry out blood pressure and weight checks. They will also be able to offer advice and information, make referrals and signpost people on to services that could help them.
The day clubs are open to all adults, regardless of whether they currently access care services. You can self-refer by contacting us to book a place for yourself or someone you know, or ask a healthcare professional to refer you.
The Social Day Clubs run every week from 10am to 3pm.
Transport to and from your preferred venue can be arranged on request.
