About Me:

Hi I’m Andrea your guide for this immersive soapstone carving workshop. With over 20 years of experience in expressive arts and therapeutic practices I’ve had the privilege of sharing the transformative power of creativity with individuals from all walks of life. My passion lies in blending mindfulness and art helping people connect with their inner selves and the beauty of nature.

Soapstone carving holds a special place in my heart. It’s an art form that invites patience presence and a sense of wonder as raw stone transforms into something truly unique. I’ve learned from master sculptors and spent years teaching this craft in both group and one-to-one settings both in the UK and here in Canada. My approach focuses on making the process accessible and enjoyable for everyone whether you’re a beginner or have prior experience.

When I’m not carving or teaching you’ll find me exploring the trails and riverside areas of beautiful locations like Eramosa Eden where the natural surroundings offer endless inspiration. I also run a studio and retail space in St. Jacobs where I host workshops and showcase creative pieces. I look forward to welcoming you to this workshop where we’ll create connect and enjoy the serenity of the riverside together.
