So, You Want to Run for Council - an Information Session With Nigel Bellchamber

Join us in person for a relaxed and informative session with Nigel Bellchamber! Whether you're curious about the candidate process or just want to learn more, this is the perfect chance to get the scoop straight from Nigel. Come ready to ask questions, meet new people, and get the inside track on what’s next. Don't miss out on this friendly, approachable event!


This session will help you decide whether to put your name forward. It will give you a clear understanding of Council's and a Councillor's roles and responsibilities. It will also give you information on the impact that the duties and responsibilities of public office will have on your life.

Nigel Bellchamber works with elected officials and senior staff all over the province, giving them essential tools to make effective decisions on behalf of their communities.

He began training members of council and heads of council on behalf of the Association of Municipalities of Ontario in 2002.

This is not a debate forum nor is it dealing with the technical aspects of running a campaign.
