SNS x BTT: Chinese New Year Improv Party

Kick off Chinese New Year with an afternoon of live improv comedy, community connection, and festive fun, brought to you by Sorry Not Sorry (SNS) and Bite The Thunder (BTT) —two Hong Kong–based improv troupes.

This special CNY event is part show, part party, and part celebration of creativity across cultures. Whether you’re new to improv or a regular in the community, you’re welcome to join the fun—no experience or language requirements needed.

1️⃣ Multilingual Improv Jam
We’ll start the night with playful, low-pressure improv games designed to help everyone loosen up, get to know each other, and express themselves. These games may jump between languages and draw inspiration from Chinese culture—but you don’t need to speak any specific language to join in.

2️⃣ SNS Community Jam Show
Next, we invite regular members of the SNS community to take the stage with us for a jam show. These are familiar, friendly improv games in a supportive environment—fun to perform, just as fun to watch.

3️⃣ CNY-Themed Improv Show
To close the event, experienced improvizers will perform a Chinese New Year–themed improv show. Expect fast-paced scenes, big laughs, and a celebration of CNY traditions through a multicultural lens—completely unscripted.
