About this Event
Learn to turn a fun snowman to decorate for the holidays. You will turn a piece of wood into a shapely snowman using a lathe and carbide tools. Experienced and non-experienced wood turners alike are all welcome in this class! All class participants receive a 15% discount on merchandise purchased in the store on the same day of their class. Exclusions apply. Students should come properly attired for a woodworking class (tight fitting clothing, long hair restrained and constrained from the face); and bring or wear provided industry standard hearing protection and safety glasses during equipment operation. All woodworking classes are held in a store that sells a wide variety of woods, including exotic woods such as cedar, aromatic cedar and other products (e.g., finishes, cleaners, etc.) that may cause allergic or other reactions in a small number of cases. Each student should carefully consider their health and reaction to products around them when signing up for this or any of the Rockler woodworking classes..
