We are so excited to announce this year's Production Session! This summer all performing classes will be participating in our studio's interpretation of Snow White. It will be an exciting, mature adaptation that will put a fun P&P spin on this classic story.

This event is about auditioning for a principal or secondary character in the show. If you plan to audition for a main role - please keep reading! If you are interested in being a chorus dancer only, please refer to the FAQ link above.
TIME COMMITMENT
Each character has already been assigned to specific classes. If you audition for a part and get it, you MUST enroll in the required classes. All cast will also be required to enroll in the Cast Class - this class is on Thursday nights from 5:30-6:30 pm. This is the time slot set aside for rehearsing scenes, solos, duets and character work. You will not be required at every class, and a schedule will be released once the show is cast.
The show will be on August 19th with our tech/dress on Tuesday, August 18th. All cast must be available on these two dates after 5:00 PM.
If you will miss more than two of the following dates you are not eligible for the roles of Snow White, The Queen, or The Prince: August 11,12, 13, 1y.
If you will miss a week or two for rehearsals, that is fine provided you are fully caught up on choreography when you return.
PLEASE NOTE: THE DROP FEE FOR A PRINCIPAL CHARACTER IS $1000. THE DROP FEE FOR A SECONDARY CHARACTER IS $500. If you attend the call back audition for a part, it means that you are committing to this program. Completing the call back audition, being cast and dropping before the program begins will be considered dropping the program and the fee will apply.
COSTUME FEES
Each cast character will have a maximum budget of $250 for their entire costuming. (If a secondary character decides to add more dances as a chorus dancer, more fees may apply).
AUDITION ELIGIBILITY
All students must have danced or instructed at Passion and Performance since September 2025. Priority will be given to students who were enrolled in the Company Class in 2025-2026.

AUDITION VIDEO DEADLINE: Saturday, May 2nd at 10:00 PM

Call backs will be sent promptly on Monday, May 4th.
CALL BACK AUDITIONS: Friday, May 8th from 6:30-8:30 PM.
Video Audition: You will be required to submit 1-2 audition videos. We will provide the songs however, the choreography and interpretation will be up to you. We are not necessarily interested in your dancing in the videos (as we already know what you dance like) but are more interested in the character you provide us, including body language and facial expressions. Audition videos can only be a maximum of ONE MINUTE LONG, and you must submit an original video for each character you audition for.

SNOW WHITE Femme Presenting. Snow is a kind, delightful, joyous person, but she also has a fierce side.
