Come explore the newest addition to Lake Brownwood State Park! This acquisition nearly triples the size of the park and adds 1.5 miles of shoreline! Currently there are no trails or facilities at this site, so come prepared. Ranger Nikki will lead this hike and showcase the unique natural and cultural resources this property has to offer and all the new opportunities it offers our park! Due to the nature of this hike, no pets are allowed for their safety.
This is a reservation only hike, and there will be a limit of 15 visitors per hike, so please reserve your place soon by calling our office at 325-784-5223! This hike will begin at the park headquarters, and hikers will follow Ranger George to the new property in their vehicles.
