Celebrate America’s 250th Birthday with a once–in–a–lifetime weekend event Saturday and Sunday, May 2 – 3 from 10:00am to 4:00pm at Shawnee Town 1929 Museum! Located just 10 miles outside downtown Kansas City, visitors can explore 250 years of America’s History as they walk through “snapshots in time” across the museum park. Visit scenes from the American Revolution and the earliest Kansas settlers on up to the Vietnam War.

PLUS enjoy special actor performances and featured talks in our Chapel event space! (see schedule below).
ADMISSION IS FREE with “goodwill donations encouraged” at the gate! All donations go to the Friends of Shawnee Town!
**Visitors are encouraged to dress up in their favorite decade!**
