We can help!
The Rhode Island Community Food Bank supports agencies by assisting people with applications or answering questions about the SNAP program.
Food Bank staff member Jailine Ortiz, the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) Outreach Coordinator will be available at Mt. Pleasant Library to provide assistance with SNAP!
Jailine will be available for walk-ins between 4pm - 6pm.
Jailine can assist with:
- Pre-screening for SNAP eligibility
- Filling out applications, recertifications and interim reports
- Answering questions or concerns about SNAP notices or letters
- Troubleshooting simple benefit problems
- Connecting you with additional community services and programs
