Crew 309 will host an unforgettable evening at Barrack's Cater Inn in Peoria, IL, for our highly anticipated event, "Smooth Strokes & Old Jokes: 50 Years of Trivia."
This fundraising celebration will bring together friends, families, and trivia enthusiasts for a night filled with laughter, camaraderie, and friendly competition.
Guests will enjoy a delicious plated dinner while mingling with fellow attendees and indulging in nostalgic tunes that will transport them back in time. Entree options include:
-Chicken Marsala: Herbed chicken sautéed with mushrooms and Marsala wine
-Roasted Center Cut Pork Loin: Tender cut of pork served with a wild plum sauce or fruit chutney
-Vegetable Plate: Sauteed vegetables and potatoes
All dinner entrees include salad, vegetable, potato or rice, rolls, butter, coffee and tea. Soda and alcoholic beverages are available for purchase at the cash bar.
The highlight of the evening will be seven super awesome rounds of trivia, where teams will test their knowledge across various categories, with CASH prizes for the top 3 teams!
Attendees can also look forward to Wine Pull (go home with a bottle of wine to add to your collection), Sock Wall (win a fun pair of socks and a gift card worth $25 or more!) and a chance to bid and win fantastic silent auction items.
Proceeds from the event will directly support Crew 309's mission, helping to cover basic programming expenses like coaching for our members and storage for our boats. This ensures rowing remains free and accessible to every survivor who needs it.
