Crypto Ħub Malta introduces Smooth Operators: AI BuildathonAn evening for people who like to create.
Join us for good conversations, live building, and the energy of a room full of people who actually make things. Whether you are deep into AI coding or just getting started, this is a space to meet others who build, see what people are working on, and get inspired.
Bring your laptop. It’s not mandatory to join the challenge. Some of the best evenings happen when people just start tinkering on their own thing next to others doing the same.
This is a bar meet-up as much as it is a tech meet-up. Grab a drink, chat, watch, learn, or just soak in the atmosphere.
The 2-Hour Build Challenge
Running through the evening, builders from the community will be competing in a live challenge. Before the event, anyone can submit an app idea through the event page. At the start of the night, ideas get randomly assigned to builders in a live raffle. Two hours to turn someone else's idea into something that works. At the end, everyone votes. Prizes go to the best build and to the person whose idea inspired it.

Schedule
19:00 -- Builder-idea raffle.
Each builder gets randomly matched with a submitted idea, live on screen. If you are building, be set up and ready to go.
19:00 to 21:00 -- Build challenge.
21:00 to 22:00 -- Presentations and voting.
Participating in the build challenge?
The raffle kicks off at 19:00 sharp. If you are not there, you cannot be matched with an idea and you will not be able to participate. Make sure you are set up and ready to go before the raffle starts.
At 21:00, every builder gets a 2-minute slot to present what they made before voting opens.
Register as a builder through the web app so we know numbers ahead of time.
This is not a competition of skill. We are here to have fun. The point is to build something in two hours, learn something, and see what everyone comes up with.
