Smooth Avenue Band is a musical ensemble known for jazzy renditions of funk, soul, blues and a bit of country but this evening and due to the overwhelming response to their Mo n Mo Motown shows, they are back for Mo n Mo Motown IV.
While some bands sprinkle in Motown tunes alongside R&B songs from other labels, for this show Smooth Avenue will be performing ONLY songs produced and performed by artists on the Motown labels—including Tamla, Gordy and artists such as The Tempting Temptations, Dennis Edwards, Gladys Knight & the Pips, Smokey Robinson & the Miracles, Stevie Wonder, The Four Tops, The Spinners, Michael Jackson/The Jackson 5, The Supremes, and others.
