This Father's Day weekend, let Dad enjoy the smoke!
Smokin' Shrine, Aladdin's Shrine's inaugural BBQ Cook-Off, is the day before Father's Day 11am - 5pm. By coming out, Dad isn't losing his special day with family, you're just turning it into a whole weekend of celebrating him with the entire family. It's the perfect place to bring all the dads in your life and show them how much you understand the stuff they love to do.
We'll have corn hole and other games dad likes, as well as music, cigars, and beer and food for purchase. We'll also have bounce houses to keep the kids entertained while dad does his thing.
Plus, every adult ticket sold is automatically entered to win a 36-inch flat top grill!
In the midst of all the fun is a barbeque competition where competitors are smoking ribs and pulled pork. Does Dad like to hang with the guys around the smoker and trade smoking tips and techniques? Because there will be plenty of opportunities for that!
Don't give Dad another boring tie. Show him how much you appreciate him by bringing him out to the Smokin' Shrine!
Admission is $10 per person. Kids 12 and under get in free!

- Fee to enter the competition: $125 (see Form for Payment information)
- Competitor categories: Pulled pork, Ribs, plus a specialty category to be determined
- Competitors set up in the Aladdin Shrine parking lot starting at 5pm on Friday, June 19th
- Food will be judged by a panel of 5 reputable and impartial judges
- Cash prizes and trophies go to the competition winners
- Judging for ribs is at 12:00 pm on Saturday, June 20th
- Judging for pulled pork is at 12:30 pm on Saturday, June 20th
- Awards to the winners are given out at 1:30 pm on Saturday, June 20th
