Smokestack Charlie play classic, raw and dirty Chicago blues inspired by legends such as Howlin’ Wolf, Sonny Boy Williamson II and John Lee Hooker. With their powerful blend of warm grooves, gritty riffs and irresistible dancing rhythms Smokestack Charlie brings the spirit of smoky Chicago clubs straight to the stage with Den Huibbe (vocals), Geneviève Dartevelle (harmonica), Raffe Claes (guitar, backing vocals), Willy Voordecker (bass) and Robert Theys (drums). BRBC house band Midnight Mary will open the evening with their own dose of rhythm & blues.
