Es ist soweit! Nachdem es um uns seit einem Jahr deutlich ruhiger zuging kommt jetzt der große Knall. Aller guten Dinge sind 3, das haben wir uns zu Herzen genommen und freuen uns mit euch zusammen den Release unserer dritten Scheibe zu feiern, man was war die Produktion und das drumherum für ein wilder Ritt! Wir haben nochmal alles aus den kreativen Synapsen rausgeholt um euch ein wunderbar stimmiges Album zu zaubern. Mit dabei sind Crimson Roots und Cosmother, die wir euch unten noch näher vorstellen.
Es wird schön, es wird wild, es wird Odonien.
Und das beste? In Tradition der odonischen Freitagsbühne ist der Eintritt völlig frei!

Cosmother:
Seit 2019 lassen COSMOTHER aus Koblenz mit ihren Psychedelic-Stoner-Space-Rock die Bühne beben. Mit erdiger Wucht, massiven Riffs und kosmischen Soundflächen katapultiert die All-Female-Band das Publikum in universelle Weiten und lässt nur eine Richtung zu: into the void and beyond.
Crimson Roots:
Crimson Roots schöpfen tief aus dem Blues und erschaffen weiträumige, eindringliche Musik, in der progressive Strukturen und psychedelische Klangfarben auf Emotion und Erzählkunst treffen. Ihr Sound entsteht aus gefühlvollem Gitarrenspiel, ausdrucksstarkem Gesang, markanten Basslinien, warmen Vintage-Keyboards und dynamischem Schlagzeugspiel. Jedes Instrument dient dem Lied und formt eine Musik, die lebendig,
ehrlich und zutiefst menschlich wirkt. Jedes Stück ist ein Spiegel ihrer gemeinsamen Reise – aufrichtig und stets im Wandel, genau wie die Band selbst.
Das neue Smokemaster Album - In the Temple:
IN THE TEMPLE präsentiert sich noch einmal abwechslungsreicher und kreativer als das Vorgängerwerk. Malerische Neo-Psych-Klangteppiche treffen auf eingängige 60s-Rocknummern und erzeugen vielschichtige Atmosphären zwischen Tiefe und Leichtigkeit. Die Band erweitert ihr Klangspektrum um aus Alltags- und Naturgeräuschen gestaltete Klangkulissen, die besonders die Jam Parts bereichern. Smokemaster liefern mit IN THE TEMPLE wieder einen bunten Blumenstrauß und beweisen auf charmante Weise, wie organisch sich die verschiedensten Ideen, Klangfarben und Emotionen in einer modernen Psych Rock-Platte miteinander verbinden lassen. Es gibt also viel zu entdecken. Die Band wünscht gute Reise.

The time has come! After things have been pretty quiet around here for a year, the big bang is finally here. All good things come in threes—we’ve taken that to heart and can’t wait to celebrate the release of our third album with you. Man, what a wild ride the production and everything leading up to it have been! We’ve once again tapped into every last creative synapse to conjure up a wonderfully magical album for you. Also joining the lineup are Crimson Roots and Cosmother, which we will introduce to you in more detail below.
It’s going to be beautiful, it’s going to be wild—it’s going to be Odonien.
And the best part? In keeping with the tradition of the Odonian Friday Stage, admission is completely free!

Cosmother:
Since 2019, COSMOTHER from Koblenz have been shaking stages with their psychedelic stoner space rock. With earthy power, massive riffs, and cosmic soundscapes, the all-female band catapults the audience into universal vastness – leaving only one possible direction: into the void and beyond.
Crimson Roots:
Crimson Roots draw deep from the blues to create expansive, immersive music where progressive structures and psychedelic color meet emotion and storytelling. Their sound grows from soulful guitar work, expressive vocals, resonant bass lines, warm vintage keyboards, and dynamic drumming. Each instrument serves the song, shaping music that feels alive, unhurried, and deeply human. Every song is a reflection of their journey, honest and always evolving, just like the band itself.
The new Smokemaster Record - In the Temple:
IN THE TEMPLE is the most ambitious Smokemaster project to date. It sees the band move in a completely new direction - leaning into the sounds of 60’s psychedelic pop. They have captured the same creative spirit of that era through the wide range of sounds and instruments heard across its runtime.
The guest vocals of The Miracle Seeds’ Jack McAfee give an entirely new sound to accompany Smokemaster’s musical shift. The softly-sung, warm vocal melodies and three-part harmonies provide memorable hooks that blend seamlessly with the band’s catchy guitar riffs and colourful organ lines.
The album constantly shifts in intensity, taking you through a full spectrum of emotions from start to finish, exploring themes of love, isolation, existentialism and nostalgia. When you embark on this cosmic ship, you will be rewarded for diving headfirst into the Ether. Smokemaster wishes you a pleasant journey.
