Hosted by the knowledgeable Stefanie Holt, this tasting will dive into the different techniques of peating and alternative smoking methods, focusing on how the origin of peat—be it from Scotland, Japan, or Denmark—imparts distinct characteristics to the whisky. From Denmark’s innovative approaches to Japan’s refined tradition, we’ll sample whiskies from various countries, each showcasing its own take on smoky expressions.
