Southside Methodist Church is offering an "Angel Tree" program for children at our neighborhood partner schools - Hendricks Avenue Elementary School, Southside Methodist Preschool and Wolfson HS. Please join our Angel Tree efforts and help make Christmas brighter for a family in our community!HOW CAN YOU HELP?
1) You can help by making a financial donation. We will do the shopping! We also use financial donations to provide groceries to families over the Christmas break when children are not in school and for the School Partner Ministry. The School Partner Ministry provides support through a prayer ministry, monthly snacks and scripture for teachers and staff, needs for families in crisis, tutoring, school supplies and more.
2) You can select one or more children or an entire family and shop for the gifts/toy and clothes yourself. (The list of children will be anonymous but will include boy/girl and age information. You purchase and drop off items to the church. We coordinate pickup or delivery with the families to maintain their privacy.)
