About this Event
Herts and Middlesex Wildlife Trust are delighted to be working in partnership with Jet Black Squares for an inspiring and hands-on introduction to smartphone nature photography with no fancy camera required!
Led by professional photographer Jeanette , this relaxed and friendly workshop will show you how to unlock the full creative potential of your smartphone. The rules of photography are the same whether you have a smartphone or a £20k camera – composition, exposure and passion. Whether you're a total beginner or looking to sharpen your skills, you'll learn how to take stunning photos of nature using techniques for your phone.
We’ll begin by learning the basics, before heading out on a walk through the beautiful Stanborough Park. Along the way, you'll discover how to capture the beauty of flowers, trees, wildlife, and landscapes, all through your phone’s lens.
As we wrap up, Jeanette will explain how to get the best from free editing apps to enhance your shots. It’s also a perfect chance to ask questions, get feedback, and connect with fellow photography lovers.
No experience needed, just bring your smartphone and your curiosity.
