Smartphones have become the camera of choice for most people and smartphone photography capabilities have become more powerful and complex. In this 2 half-day “Smartphone Photography” workshop we will cover a comparison of Android and iPhone photography features, a look at the types of lenses available in smartphones, an explanation of the difference and significance of optical zoom vs digital zoom, an understanding different photographic settings (portrait, landscape, Panorama, and video), image composition and photo editing tools. Students will also learn practical tips and tricks for portraits, landscapes, travel, close-ups and panoramic photography.
