Info: Everyone come in, get settled, and introduce themselves. We want you all to network as well as learn.

Phones Requirements and Available Apps
Info: During this time we will discuss the best types of phones to use, video apps that are available, and add-ons that help make shooting on your phone that much better. We will be working with Filmic Pro for this course which is required. Filmic Pro is $2.99 per week.

Crafting Your Story
Info: Learn about script writing, crafting characters, and creating compelling stories. Homework at the end of day 1 will include creating a short script that is between five and 10 pages.

Planning the Shoot
Info: Get a breakdown of what it takes to set up a successful shoot from beginning to end. We will cover all bases to make sure the process is as smooth as possible.

Adjusting Camera Settings
Info: Learn how to set ISO, shutter, and aperture based on different environments and lighting to get the best shots. Also learn some framing rules and how to get a visually pleasing shot.

Plan the Shoot: Part 2
Info: We will work with a pre-half written script and fill it in to prepare to shoot on Saturday. We will look over the script and characters, and we will make changes where necessary. We will also walk around to get an idea of a shot list. You all will also get a chance to see the actors and view demo reels.
