At the events, young native milkweed plants will be given away to customers who stop by the Smart Planet booth.Milkweed plants help protect the diminishing Monarch butterfly population and create breeding habitats for Monarchs—all while providing food and shelter for other wildlife and pollinators. Planting Milkweed in monarch breeding areas is one way we can help grow the Monarch population.
