About this Event
Snapshot in Time: Anthotypes
In this class we will go back to a time before cameras and printers and learn to create a wonderful negative image of a hot air balloon in the sunshine using beets and turmeric. Participants will also get a close-up look at some of the blueprints, made by a similar process called cyanotype, in the collection of the Florida Air Museum.
This project is fun, easy, and no previous art experience is required!
Cost is $10 per person or FREE for Florida Air Museum members. All supplies will be included, and light breakfast fare will be served. This class is for ages 12 and up. Online registration is required, and payment will be made at the door.
