Join us for a Smart Cycling Class from the League of American Bicyclists full course!⚪ We will begin at 6:00pm on Friday, 9/13/24 and recess for the evening at 9:00pm.
⚪ We'll start class at 9:00am on Saturday, 9/14/24 and will plan to conclude no later than 4:00pm that day.

⚫ The curriculum includes the following segments:
Part I, The Basics, covers most of the basic things a rider needs to know to choose the right bike, adjust it to fit, do basic maintenance and be comfortable riding a bicycle.
Part II, Intermediate, covers the rules and laws and explains some of the techniques for riding a bicycle to get groceries, go to dinner or just to enjoy the community.
Part III, Advanced, covers some special situations like rural riding, riding in groups, and long distance and touring.
Part IV, The On-Bike part, covers parking lot drills and road riding. Please arrive on Saturday with your bike, helmet & whatever gear you might want to complete the on bike portion of the course!
Each part of the class will give you greater confidence and enjoyment when you ride. Taking a Smart Cycling class can help you get all the benefits of bicycling and stay safe while you’re riding. Whether you’re starting out, returning to the bike after some years, or just want to hone your current skills, you’ll find information and advice in the Smart Cycling program that will make riding easier, safer, more comfortable & enjoyable.
