A two-hour creative space for writers and aspiring writers to take risks, write what’s real, and rediscover the power of their words.
About this Event

Writing Jam: A Space to Write What’s Real

For writers, poets, and anyone who’s ever felt that quiet pull to put words on a page — this is for you.

A Writing Jam is two hours to follow that creative impulse, to face the blank page with others who understand the mix of fear and longing that comes with creating. We’ll write in short bursts, listen closely, and (for those who wish) share what we’ve written — not to impress, but to be real.

Whether you’ve been writing for years or are just beginning to explore your voice, this is a space to take creative risks, reconnect with your truth, and remember why your words still matter.

Hosted by author and story doula Amy Henderson (Writing One True Thing)

Come as you are. Bring a notebook, a pen, and a willingness to see what happens when you stop hiding behind the right words — and simply write what’s true.
