That's right! We're doing it again! If you haven't rolled on small wheels as part of the Wellington Pride Parade, you don't know what you're missing! Come and join us experiencing the electric atmosphere, fun times and good company, kindness and encouragement, and being cheered on like your a superstar! (because it's no secret... you are!!).We'll be kicking things off by meeting at Crocbike & Shake Chaffers Marina at 2:30 pm for a Pre-Parade Hangout. This will be a chance to warm up, help decorate the CrocBike, grab a coffee or ice cream, and generally have a chance to settle in for the ride before the moving into the hustle and bustle of the Parade.
At 3:30pm we'll move to the Parade Rally Point at Tennyson Street, looking to arrive around 3:45 pm. If you'd prefer to cut to the chase, you're welcome to meet us there.
4:30 pm is the latest you should look to arrive, particularly if your still needing to get your safety gear and skates on.
At 4:45pm the first floats will be heading onto Cambridge Terrace and the Parade will start at 5:15pm.
Don't forget to bring the usual selfcare supplies of a water and sunscreen. Also a good idea to bring a backpack to carry any extra gear you may have (we need the space on the CrocBike for our speaker and passengers.)
