About this Event

Experience the Joy of Pottery: No Prior Knowledge Required

Discover this timeless art form with no experience necessary! Whether you want to enjoy this activity solo or share it with a friend, I will guide you through the entire process and provide all the materials and tools needed to explore the pottery wheel.

What to Expect

  • We will prepare several balls of clay and begin throwing on the pottery wheel.
  • I offer as much guidance and assistance as you need, allowing you to create at your own pace.
  • Feel free to make as many pieces as time permits during our session.
  • At the end, you can choose your favorite piece to be fired and glazed.

After the Session

  • Your creations will be fully dried, fired, and finished with your choice of glaze, resulting in functional pieces of art.
  • Additional pieces can be fired and glazed for $15 each.
  • Finished products will be available within six weeks, and you'll receive an email with the completion date.

Important Notes:

  • Please wait at least six weeks after the session before inquiring about specific pieces.
  • Fired work will remain in the studio for six weeks before being donated.
  • Shipping arrangements can be made starting from $25.
  • Please note that pieces are not guaranteed and may be damaged at various stages of the process; no compensation will be offered in such cases.

What to Bring

  • All necessary tools and supplies will be provided.
  • Wear clothes and shoes that can get messy, and consider leaving jewelry such as rings, bracelets, and watches at home.
  • You may bring your own beverages
