Through both professional roles and volunteer work, Ashley has honed expertise in health education, behavior change, and personalized coaching strategies. Having worked as a Community Health Worker and facilitated numerous workshops on nutrition, fitness, and diabetes prevention, Ashley is known for creating a supportive and engaging environment where participants feel inspired to take control of their health. Attendees of this workshop will benefit from Ashley’s evidence-based approach, hands-on guidance, and dedication to helping every individual achieve their wellness goals. Maureen, Diabetes prevention and wellness is a heartfelt mission for Maureen, sparked by the loss of her mother. Anchored in the certainty that awareness breeds improvement, she has achieved remarkable personal growth, losing 155 pounds and gaining certification as a lifestyle coach. Maureen pours her passion into supporting others on their path to wellness through shared experiences, targeted encouragement, and motivational mentorship, fostering strength, confidence, and purpose. Her advocacy for health equity is rooted in the principle that everyone deserves equal opportunity to attain optimal health, which informs her community health work and volunteer service.
