Small Business Week 2026!The Dothan Area Chamber of Commerce invites the community to join in celebrating Small Business Week 2026, taking place May 4–8, 2026. This weeklong celebration honors local small businesses and entrepreneurs through a series of engaging events focused on recognition, education, and connection.
The week kicks off on Monday, May 4, with a Small Business Week Kick‑Off and Ribbon Cutting, including coffee and networking at the Dothan Area Chamber of Commerce.
On Tuesday, May 5, the celebration continues with the Small Business of the Year Awards Luncheon, recognizing outstanding local businesses for their impact and achievements. Pre‑registration is required for this ticketed event.
Thursday, May 7, features two events. Earlier in the day, small business owners and professionals can attend a Hands‑On AI Workshop led by Trevor Hinesley. This workshop focuses on practical ways to utilize AI tools and is free to attend with registration.
That evening, the week wraps up with Women’s Night Out: Bingo, Bubbles & Relaxation, a social and networking event offering bingo, prizes, hors d’oeuvres, relaxation stations, and drinks. This event sold out last year, and tickets are available by pre‑registration only.
Throughout the week, attendees will have opportunities to network, learn, celebrate, and support the small businesses that drive the Wiregrass economy.
