Shop Small, Shop Local on Small Business Saturday, November 29, 2025! Alamogordo MainStreet, the Alamogordo Chamber of Commerce, Alamogordo Small Business Development Center, and the City of Alamogordo have partnered together to promote small local businesses this holiday season.? Our holiday mascot, Gingy the gingerbread man, will be handing out candy canes and taking selfies!

? We regret to share that the effects of a State of New Mexico taxation statute, specifically the deduction that established this annual gross receipts tax holiday, ceased on July 1, 2025.
While Small Business Saturday will not be a tax holiday this year, it remains a special day of encouragement and incentive to Shop Small at our wonderful and irreplaceable local businesses in our city!
