About this Event
Small Business Capital & Growth Forum
Featuring the Milwaukee County Future State Update
The Small Business Capital & Growth Forum brings together financial institutions, community lenders, economic development leaders, and entrepreneurs to explore practical pathways to accessing capital and supporting business growth.
Presented by Old National Bank and co-hosted by the Wisconsin Chinese Chamber of Commerce (WCCC) and the Hmong Wisconsin Chamber of Commerce (HWCC), this forum creates a platform for meaningful dialogue between business owners and the organizations that help fund and support their growth.
The program will feature a Milwaukee County Future State Update, followed by a Capital Pathways Leadership Panel with representatives from traditional banks, SBA lending institutions, community development financial institutions (CDFIs), alternative financing providers, and organizations that support capital readiness and loan preparation.
The discussion will help entrepreneurs and small businesses better understand:
- How to become capital-ready before seeking financing
- Differences between traditional bank loans, SBA financing, and alternative capital sources
- The role of community-based lenders and mission-driven financing
- Strategies for positioning businesses for growth and funding opportunities
The evening will conclude with structured networking, allowing attendees to connect directly with lenders, advisors, and ecosystem partners.
Complimentary food and drinks will be provided.
This event is free to attend. Advance registration is required as seating is limited.
