SMAC Project Night: Ceramic Ornaments with Julie Zetina

Experience level: Beginner to Advanced. Open to ages 12-adult. (Children 11 and under may take the workshop if accompanied by an adult.)
Fee: $7 per ornament, discounts for more (2 for $12; 4 for $20)

One of the joys of the holiday season is creating your own ornaments and decorations. Julie Zetina has come up with a low-cost workshop for anyone in the community who wants to create unique ceramic 2-dimensional ornament to add to your holiday décor. Instead of the regular class fee, you pay for the number of ornaments you would like to make—one, two or four. The more you buy the greater the discount.
Julie planned this workshop as a SMAC fundraising event. All monies will be donated back to SMAC! So, help support SMAC by signing up with your friends and family and have a great time playing with clay on Tuesday, November 12, from 6-8 p.m.
During the workshop you will roll out clay and design the surface. Julie will then take your work for bisque firing. The pickup date will be announced during the workshop and on the SMAC Facebook page.
When you pick up your ornament, you can take it home to decorate however you like, or you may choose to glaze your ornament on Tuesday, December 10, from 6-8 p.m. for an additional nominal fee.
